European Works Councils: employees’ involvement for promoting participation and information in EU Enterprises.

The European Conference, held in ETUI Auditorium in Brussels on September 30, 2016, is the final step of the two-year Project To.Be.E.Ewc, granted by the E.C. DG Employment, gathering skills and experiences from the partner Countries. EU directives on information and consultation rights recognize the role of national and European trade unions in negotiation procedures, targeted to the establishment of European Works Councils in European Union-scale undertakings. Trade unions partners involved with Fabi (Independent Federation of Italian Bank Workers) in the Project To.Be.E.Ewc: are Filcams (Italy), FNV (The Netherlands), Fsub (Rumania), Mube (Malta), Handels (Sweden) and UNI Europa.
